Welcome, welcome, welcome to Dr. Nadejda Webb, the new Assistant Director of LifexCode: Digital Humanities Against Enclosure and Visiting Assistant Professor in the Center for the Digital Humanities!
Dr. Webb brings her expertise in community engagement, digital humanities, Black data, and Black feminist thought to the work of creating and co-visioning LifexCode’s ecosystem of labs and projects.
Dr. Webb is the co-convener of Who Owns Black Data (Baltimore) and the director of the We Live Language Lab, as well as working closely with Ms. Sharayna Christmas of Muse360 Arts on the Black Women’s Cultural Workers Archive.
