Taller Electric Marronage and LifexCode win 2020 Garfinkel Prize

Taller Electric Marronage (electricmarronage.com) and LifexCode: Digital Humanities Against Enclosure (lifexcode.org) have been awarded the 2020 Garfinkel Prize in Digital Humanities from the American Studies Association. The annual award recognizes excellent work at the intersection of American Studies and Digital Humanities.
Taller Electric Marronage is co-directed by Jessica Marie Johnson and Yomaira C. Figueroa (Michigan State University). This prize is collectively awarded to all of the Electricians: Halle-Mackenzie Ashby, Kelsey Moore, Ayah Nurridin, Sarah Bruno, Stephany Bravo, Jada Similton and Lead Editor Christina Thomas.
